When bitten by a genetically modified spider, a nerdy, shy, and awkward high school student, Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) gains spider-like abilities that he eventually must use to fight evil as a superhero after tragedy befalls his family. This is the screen used back section of Spidey’s suit with the iconic “spider” symbol still visible and attached. This piece was originally obtained from a stunt technician that received the costume piece directly off the film’s set.
