When Anakin Skywalker succumbed to the dark side of the force, his new sith master, Chancellor Palpatine, the self-appointed emperor of the new galactic empire, assigned to him an elite unit of Clone Troopers known as Special Ops or the 501st Legion. Now known as Darth Vader, upon the enactment of order 66, his first assignment was to destroy the younglings and the Jedi temple .
Their distinctive blue-marked armor distinguished them apart from the other ranks. Their skillful marksmanship and coordinated team maneuvers allowed them to trap and mercilessly gun down the Jedi in the temple.
To create the 501st Specail Ops Trooper helmet replica, Master Replicas was given the original ILM digital character files. From these we generated a 3D model to use as a master pattern to create highly accurate molds from which they produce their helmets in top quality fiberglass. The unique blue pattern of markings which distinguish this helmets from other clone forces were supplied by Lucasfilm Ltd., ensuring that your helmet accurately represents those worn on by the Specail Ops Clone Troopers.
Since original computer renders were used, you can be assured that the 501st Special Ops Trooper Helmet is an exact replica, accurately repeating the multitude of subtle shapes and curves that make up this incredible piece of armor that bridges the gap between the Clone Trooper forces of the prequels and the Stormtroopers of the classic trilogy.
