A pair of silver coins from Ridley Scott’s 2010 historical action film Robin Hood.
Betrayed by his king and imprisoned during the Crusades, Robin Longstride (Russell Crowe) and his band of prisoners flee, assuming the identity of a fallen royal escort returning the crown of England after Richard’s death – not realising that they will be dragged into a plot by the French to take the crown for themselves.
These coins and others like them were made for the film and can be seen at various points. They feature the head of a king on one side and a cross and text on the other. They are made of metal and have been intentionally distressed to look worn. They remain in an excellent condition.
