Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Sight For Type 3 Phaser Rifle

This is a static resin sight that was originally attached to a Star Trek Type 3 Phaser Rifle prop used during the production era of The Next Generation and Deep Space Nine.  At one point during the production of DS9 one of the resin rifles was brought into the original shop to have the sight swapped out for a metal one that could flip up and be used in action/battle scenes.

Fortunately the prop shop kept the discarded sight and I was able to acquire it directly from that shop.

The bottom of the sight is pictured to show where it was adhered to the original prop.
