This is a shadowbox console that lights up made from the Michael Okuda design, as a replica, of the actual engineering console used on the Enterprise-D from the 1994 film Star Trek Generations. Derived from a transparent print of the LCARS plastic that is used in plastic x-ray sheets, this has been assembled as a fully functional lightbox the size of a standard laptop screen, the thickness is enough to sit on a desk.
