Chappie, Screenmatched Prototype Neurohelmet

Here is a 1 of 1 hero screenmatched prototype neurohelmet from Neill Blomkamp\\\'s CHAPPIE.

Working on this film (specifically painting the full CG Chappie), I have been looking for meaningful pieces from this production for some time now.

This piece was fabricated by WETA Workshop and after speaking with some friends there, this is in fact the only one they made for the production.

Unfortunately this particular piece was rigged for significant destruction so it is not exactly in pristine shape.

But I absolutely love it.

What makes this piece extra special to me is that I also painted the full CG version of this in the sequence that Chappie is trying to crack the code of downloading one\\\'s consciousness.

From the hardwritten details on the visor, this piece is easily screenmatched.

I am so thrilled to acquire one more piece that I had a hand in building the CG version for.
