The Rock, Screen Used Hero VX Gas Ball

This is an original screen used VX Gas Ball from The Rock. Barely any survived and this was obtained straight from the films prop department. This is the hero ball that was constructed to fall off the bottom of the strand on the light house scene. It's the one that bounces off Nic Cages shoe and the one he puts in his pocket. It is clearly identified in close ups when the chip is removed. The ball has the same natural cosmetic blemishes and is slightly misshapen, a natural result of the blown glass. This ball has special construction marks on top that allowed it to easily drop from the strand. Due to age, about half the liquid contents have evaporated. However, I was given specific instructions from the prop member on what the contents they used is, and how to refill it for display purposes (if I want to).
