Not sure how many people are aware of this but the knife used in the Scream trilogy by the killer is actually a real knife made by Buck knives. The knife also has a long history in horror films.
Other than the Scream trilogy, it has also been used in movies such as - Saw II, Saw III, Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare, Phantasm, Phantasm III: Lord Of The Dead. It was also featured on the VHS and poster art work for both Friday The 13th: The Final Chapter and Friday The 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan.
