Star Trek: The Next Generation, Sciences Tricorder - Stunt - Balsa Wood

This is one of three of these stunt tricorders created for Season One of Star Trek: The Next Generation (TNG). One was run over by a car at Paramount and nearly destroyed - it was rescued by Doug Drexler and was auctioned off (it is also in my collection). This prop only suffers from the rigors of time and screen-use. It is hand carved from balsa wood and the scanner is not removable. This was acquired thorugh Profiles In History auction house during 2011.
