Gone with the Wind, Scarlet's bedroom wall

This is a set wall from Scarlet's bedroom. In the freeze-frame from the film (2nd photo)...this section of the bedroom wall is the corner section with the painted portrait of the woman. The wall size is roughly 9' wide and 10' high.

Someone kindly sent us a photo (3rd photo) that shows this same wall panel also being used in the Batman television series, episode: The Bloody Tower (1967). We wondered why it had been painted green! Thanks for the new information.

The wall came to us in very bad condition and was all green. After months of restoration (fifth photo) it was returned to somewhat the same as when it appeared in Gone With the Wind (first photo)...except for the green stripe at the top. That was left unfinished and green...in honor of it appearing in the Batman TV show! The canvas painting of the woman in the middle is a copy painted from images in the film.
