Sleepy Hollow, Scarecrow in opening sequence

We loved the scarecrow in the opening sequence of Sleepy Hollow and I wanted to include one in our Halloween decorations. It has improved since this photo but this is the only one I could find at the moment. I went to a muffler shop and bought a piece of steel tubing and had them to put a slight bend close to the top. I have found out on several occasions that he doesn't do well in windy conditions. I bolted a long wood section at an angle for the arm support. Each year I have to head to the woods and try to find some limbs that resemble the hands. I have a permanent hole in the yard that has a concrete footer for support.
