Galaxy Quest, Sarris Pod Gun
original movie prop weapon
Resin, metal, foam and faux snakeskin Pod Gun, the more compact weapon used by Sarris during his surprise attack on the Protector bridge crew toward the end of the movie (good thing they had the Omega 13). Barrel spins rapidly and is activated by flipping a small toggle switch on the left side of the lower pod (also visible on screen); there may also be other electronics that are currently non-operational. Missing the muzzle tip and a few minor components. Restoration candidate.
