Warehouse 13, Sargon Mirror Artifact
original movie prop
As Pete and Steve keep Paracelsus occupied in fifth season episode Endless Terror, Artie and Myka race to the Eldunari chamber beneath Warehouse 13, where they use these 4000 year old mirrors to deflect the circling flames back into their alcoves, breaking Paracelsus' connection to the Warehouse and releasing Claudia from his control.
Sargon of Akkad, also known as Sargon the Great, was an ancient emperor who ruled much of Mesopotamia in the 22nd century BC. In this episode, it is claimed that Sargon blinded his enemies with these mirrors during battle. However there appears to be no historical basis for this, perhaps confusing Sargon with Archimedes, who legend claims set fire to attacking Roman ships by using multiple mirrors to reflect the sun during the Siege of Syracuse.
8.5" (22 cm) painted resin hand mirror, with a smooth jet black reflective surface instead of a normal mirror face.
