Ben-Hur 1959 Roman Army SPQR eagle stabdard.

On screen used in Gratus accepting wreath of
office scene, and in the march through Jerusalem
streets where a loose roof tile spooks his horse.

This one was used in both MGM's Ben-Hur 1925

and in Ben-Hur 1959l. SPQR = Senate & People

of Rome, It has an image profile disk of the emperor,

and a face on head disk of the God of War Mars, with

unit service combat awards disks above, all below the

Roman eagle of Jupiter as the Roman Legions emblem

of strength.
