Like many model builders, I can't stand wasting potential materials that might bec used to create or contribute to a new model or replica.  I had this broken airsoft rifle and just had to try turning it into something new.        Basically, I removed the scope and foregrip from the rifle, added a ribbed beam emitter and acrylic tip, filled in the openings at the front with metalizer tape, and applied a new paint job.  A variable output sound board  provides sound effects and sets a pulse rate for the LED 'beam'.  The 9-volt battery pack is concealed in the removable magazine.
