The Last Starfighter, Rylan Female Technician Complete Costume

This is a complete Female Rylan Technician Costume worn in the 1984 sci-fi classic The Last Starfighter. Costumes such as this one can be seen in the film as Alex Rogan (Lance Guest) is brought to the Starfighter base and begins to realize his destiny: save the galaxy from invasion.

Designed by Robert Fletcher, who also designed the costumes for the Star Trek films, the jumpsuit is made of a thick off-white fabric, contains a gray stripe across the chest that runs down to the right elbow, has a white zipper closure in front that runs to the lower torso, and includes two collar pins, two additional pins on the right breast, and wooden gauges with carved buttons painted silver on the two cuffs. Also included here are two off-white leg spats with full-length zippers and velcro enclosures at the top, as well as a Starfighter crew hat with the Starfighter logo and raised rib detailing.
