Saw III, Rusty nails

This is an autograph from J LaRose, the actor who played poor Troy in the beginning of Saw III. I had five nails from the actual trap, and thought it was a shame to just keep it all in a drawer. So instead I went to town on this one. The frame I made is of massive birch, which I greased up with some oil to give it a golden-ish finish. The nails are held in place by small plastic strings. Then I had to come up with something to cover up the nail attachements, and for this purpose I took the blade of an old rusty saw. Last but not least I had to keep the glass from falling out, and so I secured it with four half-corroded pieces of L-shaped steel. However, some areas of the edges of the frame are extremely thin, which made it impossible to drive in screws in every hole. So I simply had to skip some of them. But in my opinion, this just made it look cooler, and at the end of the day it is in keeping with the gritty style of the Saw movies.
