A screen-used dagger made of heavy resin cast over a metal rod. I refer to these props as Roman daggers since they were carried by Roman guards in several episodes, but this style of dagger is frequently seen throughout the series used by various characters. It is most notably used by Draco in “Sins of the Past” and by Gabrielle in “The Ides of March” when she snaps out of her pacifist fugue and goes on a killing rampage to protect a paralyzed Xena from Roman guards.
