Jumper, Roland’s (Samuel L. Jackson) Hero “Powerstick” Weapon

Individuals possess the ability to teleport themselves at will, and pursued by \"Paladins,\" an extremist group hell-bent on searching out and destroying these \"Jumpers\". From the 2008 film Jumper, this is Roland’s (Samuel L. Jackson) hero working “Powerstick” weapon. Roland is a fanatical Paladin who uses this rod weapon to disable Jumpers long enough to kill them. This prop is made of resin and tooled aluminum components with leather wrap grip portion, lenticular paper section and central ornate sculptural griffon and lion battle with griffon head pommel. With a spring-loaded mid-section that depresses, allowing upper and lower sections to rotate and spring loaded to transform the style of the weapon into a baton.  This was the main one used and even has the net style weapon that shoots out of it seen during the film.
