Well this is an interesting piece indeed, with an interesting story attached! So premier props listed this for sale originally as being “Young Michael Myers Coveralls as worn by Chase Wright Vanek and they were sold as such, then after receiving them the winner of the auction messaged chase asking for more info (because nowhere in the film, alternative cuts, or deleted scenes are there any shots of chase wearing coveralls) to which he responded that he never wore any coveralls in the film and it must have been a listing issue. After that the costume designer for the film was contacted to see if she could provide any more insight into what the coveralls were actually used for. And luck being on our side not only did she happen to have some old behind the scenes shots of wardrobe “where this pair of coveralls can be screen matched”, but she also had solid information on their use in the film. These were actually used on a stunt dummy that is a much smaller than tyler mane during the final scenes of the theatrical cut of the film where Laurie stabs Michael to death in the shed.
