There were 3 types of arrows made. I have multiple arrows of three types made for the movie. The first features a notched wooden shaft and feathered flights. The tip has been painted to appear burnt. The second is a beautifully made stunt arrow featuring a notched wooden shaft, feathered flights and a pointed rubber head. Arrows like this would have been used for stunt work when the head of the arrow would have been seen. The third just has a burnt woodent point and feathers.
They came with impressive COA's from the prop store and movie prop warehouse. The COA's contain the prop registration number, identifies the scene it was used in, has a signature, raised seal, guarentee and picture.
Each arrow has a story of its own. Some have blood still on them, are muddy, burnt, but still add enough charm and look great mounted. One of them has the wood pushed through towards the tip slightly splitting the hard rubber, so I know that one hit something hard! 7000 were made and are mostly out of circulation. A nice piece for any collection.
