Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Riders of Rohan / Rohirrim Cloak Pin
original movie costume
This Cloak-Pin was designed and cast in New Zealand by Master Armourer Warren Green. Warren Green was the master-armourer for Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings trilogy. Warren made 150 of these cloak-pins and they were used in The Lord of the Rings on “Elven” and “Rohan” costumes. This is #37/150. They were cast in 3 metal finishes; Bronze, pewter and gold-plated. The bronze ones were used on Riders of Rohan costumes. The silver (pewter) and gold (gold-plated) ones were used on Elven costumes. A number of these cloak-pins have been retained by Weta / NewLine. I had this idea for a display to go with my Museum Collection
