the complete stunt costume in a great condition. 1. Leather Vest: Distressed shaped leather vest is bound in leather and handlashed along seamlines and around armhole contrast leather. Shoulder patches are contrast suede with piped edge. Eyelets and lacing at centre back allow for adjustment.
While the vest is cut so the front could fasten with lacing through the eyelets, it was only ever worn open on the show.
2. Canvas Undervest: A second canvas vest with leather trim was worn throughout the show as a layer under the leather you can see from the photos this vest is finished with the same attention to detail as the rest of the Seeker costumes. Although was designed and finished to be seen on screen we are not aware of any scenes when it was seen without the leather vest The undervest is cut to the same shape as the top vest to create a streamlined look.
3. Woven Cotton Shirt: The fabric for the shirt was chosen for texture and weight. It has been overdyed blue to a specified for the character. The shirt is a loose cut allowing for extensive movement. Hand stitched detail features along seamlines as across the top of the right arm indicating a mended slash in the sleeve carried through from an event fans will remember season 1.
4. Pants: These pants are a great cut which was achieved through many panels and clever pattern making. They were in black stretch denim which was carefully stripped and the overdyed to achieve the required organic look. The fly is a brass clasp to close.
5. Boots: hand made 2 tone boots have been aged and toned to match the rest of the costume.
6. Tooth Amulet: this is a GENUINE AMULET from the show and was moulded by the propmakers with the twisted cord attached by the costume department. This amulet is well worn and has some staining on the back from blood applied filming.
7. Bracers (Gauntlets): Wide leather base has 3 straps threaded through slots to buckle with brass buckles.
8. Wrist wraps: Soft leather wraps tied around the wrists under the bracers. Their purpose was to prevent chaffing and anchor for the bracers to the wrist was free to move in action and sword fighting.
9. Belt #1: Wide base with strap threaded through in a similar style to the bracers. The antique brass buckle was custom the costume department.
10. Belt #2: Low slung narrower belt threads through the back slot of the top belt and falls low at the front. The antique buckle and plate were custom made by the costume department.
