Con Air, Restraint pole

original movie prop

This prop was used by Danny Trejo to move Steve Buscemi’s character Garland Greene from his padded security truck to his aircraft “separate” confinement. This prop, his over the top restraints, and the music made meeting Garland Greene in the film very exciting and ominous. It is very heavy at 11lbs as it is made of steel, aluminum, leather, and cabling. There were two types made. One with the handle made perpendicular to the head and the version with the handle mounted parallel to the head. This is the parallel version and is still mechanically functional. The only other known pole has had its cable snap unfortunately. Never hesitate to message me about any of my items. Part of the collecting fun to me at least is meeting people and conversing about the props. This item is accompanied by a Prop Gallery COA.
