Back To The Future 3, Railroad Spike & Quartz from Filming Location

This is an authentic railroad spike and quartz stone from the original filming location of Hill Valley 1885 for BTTF III at the Red Hills Ranch, a few miles south of Jamestown, California. I personally recovered these items on September 6, 2019, during the 'Back to 1885' event. They were found lying in the track ballast near the rails, at the former site of the Hill Valley rail depot where Marty McFly first enters town in the film. The spike was cleaned to remove rust and was lacquer sealed to protect it for display purposes.
