In fourth season episode Runaway, Myka, Pete and Steve investigate reports of volcanic activity at Arkansas State Prison, where two cons have escaped through a lava-burnt hole in the prison wall. The trail leads to an escapee's girlfriend, who received this "old copper jug" from the estate of her grandmother in Italy. Open the lid of this amphora from the city of Pompeii, destroyed by volcanic eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD, and lava pours out until the lid is closed.

9.5" (24 cm) metal pitcher, with distressed finish and opening lid. Easily screen-matched to the first closeup scene of the prop in the escaped cons' getaway car.
