The X Files, Pilot Episode - Alien Implant

This is a Exact Replica of the Alien Implant and is the only surviving piece of physical evidence from Mulder and Scully's first ever case - it's the nasal implant recovered from the 'alien' body found in Raymond Soames' grave. While investigating the murders of several former high school students in Oregon, Mulder and Scully discover a bizarrely mutated body in the grave of one of the victims. During the autopsy, Agent Scully discovers a metallic object implanted in the body's nasal cavity and removes it. At the end of the episode, she presents the implant (sealed in a sample jar) to FBI Section Chief Blevins as the only surviving piece of evidence from the case, the rest having been destroyed in an arson attack upon the agents' motel. She states that the material from which the implant is constructed could not be identified. In the episode's final scene, the Cigarette Smoking Man is seen placing the 'alien implant' in storage at the Pentagon, along with several others Can be Seen in The Pilot Episode
this prop replica is made from metal, and is complete sample jar - a plain one (as featured in most of the episode) and one bearing an identification sticker (as seen at the end of the episode, when the Cigarette Smoking Man places it in storage).
