The Mummy Returns, Pharaoh's Spectator Headdress

This item is a head dress made for the 2001 Brendan Fraser action film The Mummy Returns. Items such as this can be seen worn by spectators of the spectacular battle between Princess Nefertiri (Rachel Weisz) and Anck Su Namun (Patricia Velsquez.) The head dress is made of a rough fabric colored dark gold and a burlap-like black fabric wrapped around a hard felt head cover. There is a black string at the back which allows the headband to be adjusted easily. Wrapped around the head dress and extending upwards in the front is a material made of faux leather colored black and gold. The head dress measures approximately 8” x 12” (20cm x 30cm) and is in good condition.
