Robin of Sherwood, Pewter Goblets

Two pewter goblets of a vintage, antique style with fluted bases. These types of cups tended to be featured prominently in most banquet scenes in castles, notably any scene with the Sheriff of Nottingham. They tended to be robust and hard wearing props and relatively inexpensive. You notice they were in use in a lot of period shows and films of the time, but not so much in the last 15 years as they now use horn etc.
