Traffic, Paper Cocaine Container
original movie prop
A Prop Paper Cocaine Container from Steven Soderbergh’s 2000 drug war drama, Traffic. In the film, America’s war on drugs is expressed from the views of a judge, a drug lord’s wife, the DEA, and a Mexican cop.
After Caroline (Erika Christensen) escapes from rehab, she spends time with a small time drug dealer. While in his apartment, she reaches out for a small paper container of cocaine. This paper container is a piece of wax paper that has been tightly folded closed. On the inside of the paper is a small amount of prop cocaine, and the front of the paper has “911” stamped in red, alongside a scorpion stamped in black.
