In fifth season episode Ex Machina, the DOD installs a new all-in-one security system at Global Dynamics in the wake of the Astraeus crew abductions.  But when the digital 'ghost' of Holly Martin escapes the impounded Consortium photonic computer and enters the GD network, PanOp unleashes an antivirus intent on terminating her, leading to a chase through the building's systems, with each node turning red as its assigned area is 'purged'.

Set of six nodes, each made of a translucent acrylic base and clear acrylic dome, with a wire mesh lining partially obscuring internal circuitry.  Green/red illumination is toggled by means of an RF remote. Each node is set to change color at a slightly different frequency, resulting in a cascade of green to red transitions passing from one node to the next; this effect was used in the episode as Carter raced to save Holly while PanOp rapidly locked down one section of the building after another.  With foam-lined black plastic carrying case, as also seen in use onscreen.
