made from scratch movie prop weapon
Here’s my attempt at what a few have already mastered. I don’t have a workshop or many tools (in fast I used one power tool on this which was a power file) so I’m fairly happy with how it’s come out. From a solid brass bar to a shiny blade.
I eventually added some detailing to the guard and wrapped the handle in suede as it made for a better effect and feel.
I’m currently waiting for some leather for the hilt and I’m finding it difficult to find the perfect coconut! I’m happy to leave it with a “Lost Boy” style finish once the leather has arrived because I doubt they would have the tools to match the original look, I do have a ZC one on the way though and that is hero/screen accurate.
