This chest and back armor is cast fiberglass and the 2 piece epaulettes are as well. This was used during filming. It has some scratches, scuffs, and chips. It has seen some battle. Win this auction and you will receive the exact item shown in these photos. This set has 2 piece articulated shoulder armor and a cool braided wrap on the shoulder straps. This set also has an extender plate hanging from the bottom of both the front and back plates to make it a better fit for taller actors. This was designed by Colleen Atwood the Academy Award winner in 2003, 2006 and 2011 for best costume design. It is adjustable and would fit most larger gorillas (it was designed to be worn over a large gorilla muscle suit and other armor).
