The over boots are black over black and have lots of fur sticking out. The soles show zero wear. These boots look like they went through days of battle filming, then were sent to the shoe repair shop. They have had new soles attached. The inner boot (the one with the toes attached) are a pair of Body Glove brand diver booties that have a padded insole added. The over boots are an open toed design that allows the toes on the booties to show sticking through (maybe not such a great design for battle boots, but hey, they're apes...) They are obviously artfully hand made. These were designed by Colleen Atwood the Academy Award winner in 2003 and 2006 for best costume design.
