As seen on screen in the 1951 movie Quo Vadis, the MGM production
said to have set the standard for mega block buster epic films. This
hand carved wooden oval standard likely also dates back to the
silent 1925 Ben Hur. Oval top device exactly matches this listing
provided on screen photo. From the famous 1970 MGM Studio Auction.
