A production-used storyboard display from the production of Jon Favreaus holiday classic film Elf.
This display consists of one storyboard printed on white paper. It features four printed illustrations showing the concept for the films introduction. A note at the side reads As in Cinderella, indicating they took direct inspiration from the Disney princess animation. The drawings depict a stop-motion of a storybook opening to a page with an illustration of Papa Elf (Bob Newhart) reading a book. The last shot transforms into the real version of that illustrated scene. The storyboard has been labelled Sc 1 and includes printed descriptions and directional arrows.
The storyboard is presented in a custom-made display featuring the films iconic logo, a still of Buddy (Will Ferrell) from the film.
