Extra Information - Raymond Hughes was a costume designer best known for his Emmy Award-winning work on the 1974 miniseries The Pallisers. The series followed the novels of Anthony Trollope, and was set in the House of Commons in Great Britain.Hughes, who grew up in Llanfairfechan, Wales, also worked on the miniseries Point Counter Point, Wives and Daughters, Prince Regent and Master of the Game. Hughes joined the BBC as a costume designer in 1966 and went on to design costumes for the TV shows BBC Show of the Week, Top of the Pops, Doctor Who and Jack the Ripper. He also worked on the telefilms The Merchant of Venice, Othello, King Lear, Jekyll & Hyde, Frankenstein and The Boy Who Would Be King.
