A superbly detailed Costume understood to have been made for Tom Cruise in his leading role as 'Jack' The bespoke made long sleeved top has a multitude of hand applied detailing of a Tudor appearance. The inside neck area is detailed 'Tom Cruise Sc/12A + 15' in faded black ink. However, a costume of this type is not seen on screen, as such it is possible the scene was cut or rejected. The piece is accompanied by a Bonhams Auction House (London) letter, dated 1996, signed by the then head of entertainment sales, Ted Owen, affirming that this piece was made for Legend.
