These original watercolor paintings and proofing material were used to make the special tarot cards in Season 4's Episode 21 "Primeval" and Episode 22 "Restless." These are unique designs made for the show and not taken from any published tarot decks. In "Primeval," Willow, Xander and Giles use the four tarot cards SPIRITUS, ANIMUS, SOPHUS and MANUS for a powerful spell to summon The First Slayer and combine all four of their spirits with Buffy to create a super Buffy who easily defeats Adam with her uber powerful Sumerian spells and invincible strength. In "Restless," the cards appear in Buffy's dream sequence.
