This shirt can be seen in the scenes in the television station when Nada and Frank (Keith David) try to make it on to the roof to destroy the dish that allows the aliens to stay undercover. The checked shirt can be screen matched to these scenes, although it appears to be more broken down than it does in this film, suggesting it may have been used on a another production after this.
