Interview With the Vampire, Original Lestat Fire Stunt Mask
original movie costume
Lestat’s fire stunt mask worn in the 1994 movie Interview with the Vampire. This charred mask was worn by the brave stunt man Nick Gillard as he performed the dangerous fire stunt seen in the first half of the film when Louis (Brad Pitt) sets fire to the vampire. This mask, which was cast from Tom Cruise's face, enabled the stunt to be performed safely whilst still appearing to be Lestat himself. Made by the legendary Stan Winston, the fireproof mask has Velcro on the top for the wig to be attached and Velcro at the back for the actor to get in and out of it.
