This is an original production made staff of ra headpiece. This was made at Elstree Film Studios NORANK ENGINEERING CO LTD sculpted and cast in metal. The red resin stone is also one of the originals, only in a second moment was choosen Amber color, that was used in the Hero Headpiece. According to the sculptor Barry Minot, he supplied this red resin stone to the production team.
This was created in 1981 as part of the original run of 6.
An identical headpiece like this was sold in Profiles in History auction for $60,000 back in 2006.
