An Original Hand Drawn 'The Craft' Book Illustration made for Andrew Fleming's 1996 Wiccan horror film, The Craft. In the film, new student Sarah (Robin Tunney) finds friendship among a coven of young witches who are hell bent on strengthening their powers.
This artwork was created for the book, The Craft, used by the young coven. The illustration can be seen referenced by the girls while examining the initiation spell during lunch at school. The startling black and white image features four witches around a tree that has grown from the scalp of a bull. The grassy floor beneath the witches is riddled with snakes and skulls. Drawn of vellum paper using pencil, this remarkable original drawing features slight adjustments made by the artist, where white out has been used to brighten the space between the witches and the tree trunk.
