No Country for Old Men, Original Hand Carved Mockingbird

This is the bird which was displayed in the final scene of No Country For Old Men. Unfortunately only the bottom part of the bird is visable in the youtube clip, I don't know if it shows up better in the movie format or not, it is on the shelf that is to the left of the window as you are looking at Tommy. This is hand carved original artwork, one of a kind.  You can definately identify the bottom portion of the bird from the movie. If you look at my other item (another bird), it is clearly visable in the movie. The bird was carved in 1982. Some of the props in the final scene were brought in by the production company, some of the props belonged to the family. This prop belonged to the family, my family. The bird was carved by me, and I grew up in the house where the final scene was filmed near Edgewood NM. a lot of scenes were filmed in NM, including Albuquerque NM, Las Vegas NM.
