made from scratch movie prop
This excellent base oscillation overthruster was made by morganthirteen at therpf.com. I was looking for active buttons and designed rare earth magnet pushpins. I milled out the holes for the pushpins and made a set of smaller pins, bottom plate and weird little bump thingy out of brass. These I aged a brown color. The color of the oscillation overthruster came out a bit greenish - oops. Next time I will go for a silver metallic.
