The Goonies, One-Eyed Willy’s Gold Coin

A One-Eyed Willy’s gold coin from The Goonies (1985), this is one of the many examples that can be seen in the treasure room aboard the Inferno pirate ship. The Fratellis catch up to the Goonies on the deck of the vessel and force them to empty their pockets of the treasure before making them walk the plank. The crooks, however, set off a booby trap that ends with their arrest and the Inferno sailing off into the distance. These coins were later reused in Steven Speilberg’s Hook (1991).
