Oberst Heinz Brandt's (Tom Hollander) journal from the 2008 WWII film Valkyrie. In the scene of the 20th July assassination attempt on Hitler, Colonel von Stauffenberg (Tom Cruise) stands next to Brandt at the table, and it is Oberst Brandt who moves the crucial briefcase into the wrong position. When Stauffenberg first enters the meeting room, Brandt can be seen making notes in this journal. This black leather-bound journal features an iron cross symbol on the front, with the letters "H. B.". Inside, half of the pages are filled with notes and letters written in German; there are about five different pages that were reprinted and repeated to give the journal volume. There are also a few cards and tickets stuck in the pages, also in German.
