This is a one of a kind metal Katana used by Gabrielle in the Xena Finale Friend in Need. There were several resin versions of this sword made and to distinguish the Gabrielle swords from the swords used by her army blue cloth was used to mark the handle and scabbard. This is the only metal version that was created and used for the close up sceen. That would make this sword screen matched. Lovely craftsmanship and detail! Originally purchased at the online IAW Xena auction in 2001. i recently aquired this from a longtime and known Xena collector Xenasbard.
