Robin of Sherwood, Nottingham Soldiers' Mail Hood
original movie costume
Made of tightly knitted, pre-shrunk wool & painted silver to similate real chainmail. This was the cheaper alternative to mail and used extensively in tv & film through the 70's and 80's. This probably came from Bermans who supplied a lot of the costumes for the series.
