Push, Nick Gant's Hero Bloody Shirt

This screen worn hero shirt was used in the movie "Push" in 2009. Nick Gant was played by Chris Evans in the movie. The shirt is a white v-neck t-shirt that is the brand “Fruit of the Loom.” This shirt was worn under Chris Evan’s grey “Rag & Bone” sweater throughout the movie. The shirt has fake red blood all over the collar and the front. The back of the inside of the shirt has “Nick” wrote in permanent black marker. This screen worn shirt is a “hero” item because it was used extensively during filming and it was one of the main costume items for the character of Nick Gant.
This shirt is seen in the beginning of the movie to the very ending of the movie because there were not that many costume changes. Nick Gant, Cassie Holmes (Dakota Fanning), Kira Hudson (Camilla Belle), and a group of other people with telekinetic and clairvoyant abilities band together to stop the secret U.S. governmental agency, called Division. Division wants to use all of these people’s abilities to create a massive superhuman army that can control the world. If Division is destroyed then they will be free of the agency forever and Cassie’s mother will also be freed. Toward the beginning of the movie you can see Nick’s shirt the best. Right after Nick meets Cassie, Pop Girl and her two brothers go after Cassie and Nick nearly dies from saving Cassie. Nick ends up getting help from a Stitch named Teresa Stowe (Maggie Siff) and she repairs and reassembles Nick’s scar tissue and broken bones. After Nick is better, Cassie and him start their journey once again and the rest of the movie Nick wears his white bloody shirt under his grey sweater. Another good scene when this shirt is shown is when Cassie gets herself drunk and Nick has to tuck Cassie into bed. This shirt was originally purchased through Fangoria’s Massive Movie Prop Auction that was held live and the COA is through Premiere Props. “Their powers make them an endangered species because one push can change everything!"
